5.2. Configuring GDM

To configure GDM, use the GDM Configurator application. To open GDM Configurator, choose Applications->System Tools->GDM Configurator.

You can configure GDM in the following functional areas:

  • General

  • Standard greeter

  • Graphical greeter

  • Security

  • XDMCP

5.2.1. General Settings

Use the General tabbed section to set general GDM preferences.

Table 5.1 lists the general GDM settings that you can configure.
